We welcome families from all ethnic groups, with or without disabilities on equal terms. In addition Dads, Grandparents, Childminders and all other carers are equally welcome to attend. Contrary to our title, children do not have to be able to ‘toddle' before they can attend, babies, toddlers and preschool children can all come along!
We believe that as a Toddler Group we can provide a first opportunity for fun, friendship and learning outside the home. We can provide time and space for children to learn through play, perhaps with larger equipment than can be provided in a home setting.
In addition we provide an opportunity to sit together, listen and learn during our Song/Story Time and to experiment with different materials on our Activity table.
Last but certainly not least, we aim to give adults the chance to share both the pleasures and anxieties of bringing up small children.
Open House runs on a Wednesday morning, from 9.15 am to 11.15 am during term time.
There is a small charge, which includes tea/coffee, drinks for the children as well as any craft materials they may use during the session. Toast may also be purchased.
